Growing up, Emma's love of photography and painting led her to develop a desire to tell stories through moving image; drawn to stories and visceral imagery that explore and question our human complexities, psyche and shared experiences. Whether narrative film, documentary, music video or commercial, each project and collaboration Emma joins, is treated individually as a unique opportunity to bring ideas to life.
Since graduating from the prestigious National Film and Television School (NFTS), her work has been recognised with a 2021 BAFTA nomination for ‘The Song of a Lost Boy’ and nomination for the British Society of Cinematographer’s (BSC) Short Film Competition for her work on ‘Voce’.
