Emma is a director of photography based in London. Her work has been recognised with the BAFTA nominated and Royal Television Society winner ‘The Song of a Lost Boy’ and British Society of Cinematographers nomination for ‘Voce’ in the short film competition.
She has shot a diverse body of work across narrative, animation and documentary for productions including, the BFI, BBC Creative, The Guardian, Netflix and Disney.
She has a background in art and design and went on to complete an MA in Cinematography at The National Film and Television School.
Her passion for art, photography and storytelling informs her visual approach. Responding to each project uniquely with a combination of creativity, empathy, and collaboration. Drawn to stories and visceral imagery that explore and question our human complexities and shared experiences.
